This is another project undertaken in collaboration with Brisbane practice Cavill Architects. It involves the adaptive re-use and extension of two existing buildings in the inner-city Brisbane suburb of West End. The functions accommodated within the refurbished buildings are a covered market and a new bar / restaurant, with its own adjacent covered outdoor dining area. The buildings are connected by means of a top-lit covered walkway which acts as an east-west circulation spine through the complex, connecting Montague Road with Raven Street.
